First time we've been to this location and the staff here were Great, very friendly and fixed the food with care. The food was good but the chili cheese fries just don't taste like they used to..

This was my first JCI experience and it was a good one! It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food took a while because someone was late to work but they were apologetic and made sure everything was correct. If I get a craving for this again I’ll be sure to go to this location again!

JCI is such an underrated fast food restaurant. It's hard to find a decent hotdog anywhere; it's nice to be able to count on JCI for one. The corn dogs are also very good. Crispy, which can be rare because it seems like a lot of places serve somewhat soggy corn dogs. Good place to get some greasy, hard to find fast food. Prices are a little higher than I think they should be for some of the dogs, but the basic ones are cheap. Whenever I'm in Houston, JCI is always a spot I try to hit.

It was pretty good. They have a lot more options than last time I visited one of the restaurants but I like the classic style Coney.

Ordered through door dash. When I got it, cheese was gross. Like really bad. I don't normally do reviews but this you guys need to fix. That cheese was way past the expiration date. Y'all need to change this. The one at Town and Country is much better and has much better service.

I only have ONE complaint with this place. Only one; they have to have the worst chili I've ever tasted in my life. Scratch that, that Hormel horndog chili in the can is worst but the JCI chili isn't that far behind it. Other than that, everything they serve is pretty good (the tots are really good!) and as the only true fast food hotdog show in town, you'd be hard-pressed to find something better from a fast food perspective. But dont order anything with chili. For the love of gawd dont order anything with chili. You will regret it and your tastebuds will hate you forever.

Good food but poor value

The best place to get a very good hot dog. The corn dog, and the onions rings also is good. The place is clean and the staff is helpful and polite. I just think is a little pricey.

One of the best burgers Ive had in a long time. Definitely higher quality than normal fast food.

We've eaten at this location numerous times and this time It was blase. The hot dogs were cold by the time we got home. It was only 15 minutes. The Buns were not soft so they were not steamed. The chili tasted okay.

Anna and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The food is reliably good. I have been ordering #1, all the way, plain fries ( now Walker Street) for 20+ years and never got a bad meal. Can't recommend them too strongly.

I was excited about trying a Juicy Lucy, because I never had one. I was a little disappointed, because the meat wasn't seasoned at all. Everything else was great! Hot dogs are full of flavor. Fries seemed like they were freshly made.

James Coney Island has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid if I was sick, hungry, tired, or even happy JCI always makes me feel better. Honestly my favorite hotdogs in the world. They changed there recipe and the quality dropped alot in the past couple years but it's still amazing.

Had great service! And I love the fact that jci is from Houston! The cashier told me a lot of cool facts about how jci started out ...must go and ask about the history before you grab a bite!

Ok quality food, but 20 min wait times on a slow Sunday afternoon for highly overpriced food items. And if you want to throw "truffle oil" on something then don't call it garlic parm fries..call then truffle cojita fries since that's what I got. I detest "truffle oil".

Everyone here is friendly and helpful and wearing masks and gloves . Clean place , good hot dogs and fries , etc . Gotta go there y'all !

Love the pasta and chili bowl, or just the chili. They also have hamburgers, fritos pies, chili fries and more. They also serve beer.

Very good and clean place to go. Super expensive for some hot dogs. But really good. Just be ready to spend some money.

What can I say? James Coney Island is just that. Ate a couple of Chicago style, fries, etc. Left full and content. Food quality is still the same, service is guick, although I do have a bit of trouble understanding the foriegn accents, especially when they're really heavy. A little tough to get to, but worth it for a 100% beef hot dog. Try it you'll like it.

Friendly, fast, and attentive service. Clean restaurant and restroom. I ordered a Chicago dog, cheese fries, and rootbeer. Food was delicious. They also had 3 TVs showing different football games.

This place was pretty nice. It’s been years since I’ve visited with JCI. They now have a new larger menu to order from. The cheese fries are awesome and the food was hot and fresh. Kids and adults will easily fall in love with this place.

Hungry man combo is a fair amount of food, and what can you say about the chili mac that hasn't already been said. Finally a place worth going to on the regular.

Tried this place for the first time today and I must say, it’s not for me. YUCK!

I don't often dine in, but the evening I did the staff was attentive and super kind to my children. Also really enjoyed the Greek salad.

Yummy place. Tammy and Jose are nice. One thing I wish is that corporate would lower prices a little bit.
